Don't forget about Read to Succeed!

If your child is in kindergarten through 6th grade, they are invited to participate in Six Flags' Read to Succeed Program! It is a fun incentive to get kids to read. Students need to record and log their reading over the next few months. If they submit a log with 6 hours of reading on it by Wednesday, February 24, 2016, they will receive one free ticket to Six Flags Over Georgia!

1st Grade Valentine's Celebration

We will be celebrating Valentine's Day on Friday, February 12. Students can bring in valentines and an already wrapped and decorated shoe box any time the week of the 12th. We will also have a build-your-own fruit salad party as we exchange our valentines! Look out for a sign-up for this soon!

AR Tests

Congratulations to Aryan and Inaaya for meeting their AR reading goals! They will be able to dress down on Tuesday, February 2nd!

Remember, if your child ever reads an AR book and is familiar with the text, they can take an AR test in class. If students take 3 or more tests in a month and receive an 85% or above, they can receive a dress down day!
