SCAM EMAIL ALERT

St Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church

From the Pastor | October 10, 2020

My Dear Parishioners of St. Elizabeth Seton,

I just want to inform you that there are still email scams that are being sent to parishioners from some evil con artists who are playing on your charity and tender hearts. These emails are sent, claiming to be me, from a made up email address and asking for a favor. Generally they find information on our website and use it to phish for money or information. This is happening to many Catholic parishes.

Again, I would like to emphasize what I have said before and again assure you that I will never ask you for a favor, or for money, or for any information online. Please delete immediately whatever scam email that you may receive and do not even open it. Don’t get caught with your guard down. Thank you for your love and support of our beautiful parish community. Please be safe.

Blessings,

Fr. Michael
