• Get student folders from Mrs. Alvarado during your conference time. You may rate your students’ writing in our office or take it back to your classroom.
• If you choose to take your folders back to your classroom, they need to be secured like STAAR materials(locked in a cabinet if you leave the room, can not be left on your desk unsupervised). They MUST be brought back to our office at the end of your conference period.
• If you would like to rate after school, let Mrs. Alvarado know. Folders must be returned by 4:30 PM.

RESOURCE OF THE WEEK
Lead4ward App
The Lead4ward App has so many neat tools to explore. My favorite is the "Check For Understanding" tool. You set a timer, and when it goes off, you choose a "Think It Up!" question to pose to your class. If you have a hard time remember to ask those HOT questions, this is the perfect tool for you.
RECOMMENDATION: Ask your question, and give student a minute to think on their own or write down a response. Then give them time to share with a partner or group. You could also get students moving by having them pair up with students sitting at a different table. Have several groups report out their discussion.
