- Note from Nurse-As you should be aware, all medications are required to be transported to and from school by the child’s parent or guardian. As the school year comes to a close, I want to remind you that all medications will need to be picked up by 4:00pm the last day of school (May 25th). Any medications left in the clinic will be discarded and will not remain in the clinic. If your child currently has medications in the clinic that are not likely to be used again, please consider picking medications up prior to the final day of school to avoid long lines.
Thank you so much for the wonderful teacher appreciation week! I loved the gift cards! It has been a pleasure to work with you all. It has been a fantastic year! Your help with homework, supplies, folders, reading, writing, math facts, etc goes a LONG way! Thank you for everything you have done to assist your child’s education this year. We truly appreciate YOU!
We read stories about traditions. We studied three letter blends, inflected endings, compound words, and our grammar skill was special pronouns. Next week we will be learning about r- controlled vowels. Our grammar skill will be adverbs. Our sight words will be: favorite, few, gone, surprise, wonder, young.
Your child can work on the Raz-Kids website at anytime for more practice on reading comprehension. If you think your child's level is too easy let me know and I can increase the difficulty. The teacher username is: smitchellav

* We now have an awesome website where your child can practice their own specific level of chomputation on the computer. This website was created by a South Creek parent!!
