Banned Books Week 2014
Do you have the right to read?
Every year, there are attempts to remove books from libraries and schools based on the objections of a person or group of people; more than 5,000 challenges were reported between 2000 and 2009. The American Library Association tracks these challenges and compiles yearly lists of the most-challenged titles. Has your favorite book or author made the list?
