September 2-6 Newsletter
Monday, we will be starting our spelling program. Spelling tests will be on Fridays. Homework books will also be sent home. Students should be spending about 10 minutes a night doing homework, and about 10 minutes a night reading. I am happy to see how many students have already logged in and started RAZ Kids. If you have not already logged in, please do that this week.
Students should have received their Club forms. Please have these completed and returned by Tuesday if you would like your child in a club. As much as possible, we will try to give them their first choice.
I will be emailing you a copy of the phone tree, and one will also be in your child's agenda. This is the fan out we will use in case of a typhoon, or for an emergency. Please keep this close at hand and check to see who you will be phoning.
Just a reminder, please do not send nuts or nut products to school, as many students have nut allergies. Also,
Students in Grades 1 – 6 eat lunch in the MPR. Students may bring a bag lunch or may participate in the school lunch program. Students who participate in the school lunch program are encouraged to pre-order lunch to ensure prompt service. Students are expected to clean up their eating areas prior to being dismissed to go outside.
If you wish to treat your child and take them off campus for lunch, a note must be included in the student’s agenda that day. The student will meet the parent in the office where they can be signed out.
Have a great week.
