Adele Laurie Blue Adkins is a successful singer and songwriter. She was born on May 5, 1988 in London, United Kingdom. She graduated from the BRIT School of Performing Arts and Technology in 2006. Because of this, her career was started. Adele had received her first recording contract after a friend posted Adele's demo on MySpace. This help her musical career begin as in the next year, 2007, she received the Brit Awards "Critics' Choice" award. Also, Adele won the BBC Sound of 2008. Even though Adele's career started in 2007, she is still making an effect on the musical world today.
Adele attended the BRIT School of Performing Arts and Technology. She graduated from this school in 2006. A vocal coach that Adele has worked with is Ron Anderson. Ron Anderson has also coached Janet Jackson and Selena Gomez.
So far in Adele's career, she has released three albums. The names of these albums in order are: 19, 21, and 25. Some of the popular songs on these albums include "Someone Like You", "Rolling in the Deep", and "Chasing Pavements".
Influence of Career
The people who influenced Adele's career were Etta James and Ella Fitzgerald. These people had an effect on Adele's career because these singers were legends that still wrote songs. Adele was so inspired because she wanted to become like Etta James and Ella Fitzgerald.
Adele has won plenty of awards since the beginning of her career in 2007. She has won approximately eighty awards. Some awards that she has won includes: "Academy Award for Best Original Song", "Grammy Award for Album of the Year", "Grammy Award for Song of the Year", and "Grammy Award for Best New Artist".
