Overview of "Lasts"
Writing - We will be writing about some of the great things we might do this summer. I can't wait to hear and read about the adventures that lie ahead.
Science - We will be finishing up our unit on earthquakes and volcanoes with a few experiments.
Social Studies - Our tour of the west will be fast and furious. We will read about the unique states of California, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii and Alaska.

Pillow Cases
END of YEAR PROJECT:
Please send in a plain white pillow case by Monday, May 23rd. We will be Tie-Dying on Friday, May 27th in the afternoon.
Ridge View's Got Talent
We are happy to announce plans for the annual Ridge View Fourth Grade Talent Show. There will be two different shows; one on Wednesday May 25th and one on Thursday May 26th starting at 8:30 AM. Your child knows that day they will be preforming, please join us if you can. Mrs. Aitchison's and Mrs. Salmon's classes will be opening the show up on Wednesday with a rousing opening act.
A very special thanks goes out to Mr. Steadman and Mrs. Lundquist for all their help in making this the best talent show ever!!

COOK-OUT:
We will be having a cook-out on Thursday, June 2nd (the last day of school) for our class starting around 11:00am-12:30. Classroom Awards to be presented to students. I sent home a Sign-Up Genius Link for items and thank you to the parents that have already agreed to send in items. Please send items on Wednesday (except the watermelon slices).
