Our Mission

Jon Gordon's, The Energy Bus is a great book for examining the power of the energy that we bring to our work, life and team. Every day we have the choice to be positive thinkers or negative thinkers. Positive thinking energizes. Chapter 1 ends with a reading of the children's book Energy Bus. The text is noted below:

This is your energy bus.

You're the driver.

Did you know you can take your bus anywhere you want to go?

Say yes three times with me. Yes, yes. yes.

You can take it to the movies, the beach or the North Pole.

Just say where you want to go and believe it will be so.

Because every journey and ride begins with a desire to go somewhere and do something and if you have a desire then you also have the power to make it happen.

I was reminded about the implication of the reading for becoming an outstanding school of choice where students are engaged in project-based learning that develops 21st century skills supported by technology that prepares them for a global competitive society.

The book called for us to read the directions and answer the following questions:

First, decide what you want. Then you can start creating it. Don't let the world create you. You create your world. Complete these questions.

  1. My vision for my life (including my health) is
  2. My vision for my work, career, job and team is
  3. My vision for my relationship and family is
