Dear BES Families
The Blytheville School District is one of many districts across Arkansas that has been approved through the Arkansas Department of Education for use of Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) days to be offered during the 2019-2020 school year. The approval of our AMI plan allows the opportunity for all elemenary students to continue to be engaged in learning on emergency days or those that weather conditions prevent school from being in session.
We have AMI packets for days 6-10 (the week of March 30th to April 3rd) ready to be passed out. You can pick them up from the Blytheville Elementary Welcome Center on Monday, March 30th from 9 am to 3 pm. We are currently working on developing AMI packets for the weeks of April 6th and April 13th. We will also share the packets on our Facebook page and through student email if you would like to print them. (Mailboxes and Beyond, a local business has offered to print AMI packets for free if you are interested in that service.) At this time, please keep any completed AMI packets until we return to school.
Teachers will be available from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each weekday by email or please feel free to reach out to me directly if you have further questions.
