Tech Tuesday
Student Creation....Show What You Know
Book Creator - A Closer Look
This week I wanted to revisit one of my favorite tech tools that can be used with students of all ages. Don't be fooled by the name. This is the ultimate project maker in any content area for any grade level. Book Creator has always been a favorite of mine on the iPad, but now that it is available for use with Chrome...I am in love all over again! Book Creator is the PERFECT tech tool for your students to SHOW WHAT THEY KNOW. They are continually adding new features that are improving this tech tool, so it's quickly becoming one you shouldn't live without. It is easy to use, provides a variety of tools for your students to make their learning come to life, and is sure to make student engagement soar. Book Creator is basically a bookmaking tool, but can be used for a variety of projects and I have added many interactive idea books below that will not only inspire you, but will help make this applicable to your classroom. Students can choose images, place text, add recordings, and choose background colors for assembling their projects in a variety of formats, including comic strips. They have even added a "read to me" feature that makes this perfect for the little ones. Once this app is added from the Chrome Web Store, the possibilities for student creation are endless.

We naturally think about using this tool to write a story or a report, but don't forget math. This is perfect for students to illustrate the problem or explain their work verbally.
Use it to App Smash
This assignment requires them to create a project in Chatterpix and import it into this page. This enables students to save it like a portfolio.
