Nutrition Club
The Nutrition Club provides supplemental weekend food for children at North, South and the Middle School each Friday during the school year. We all struggle at some point. The goal of this program is to ease a bit of the struggle. You are welcome to sign-up at any point during the school year. The food will be sent home in a plastic bag that can fit inside a school backpack or be carried. You only complete one form per family. List all of your children that you would like to participate. Each child in your family will receive their own cinch sack or bag on Fridays throughout the school year. This program is the result of the generosity of the Danville community!
Please contact Chrissy Larkin with any questions. clarkin9893@aol.com or 317-563-2498. Please click on the link below for the form:

Thank you!
South Elementary staff would like to thank all the PTO officers and volunteers for their help getting ready for the first day of school and the great folders! Thanks also to the volunteers who helped make students’ arrival and dismissal go smoothly our first week back!
We would like to thank the United Way for their generous donation of book bags and school supplies, West Bridge Church for the wonderful treats, and the Methodist Church for our kick off breakfast.

Transportation
Danville Community School Corporation has launched an innovative app to keep your children safer and make your morning easier. With HereComestheBus, you and your child will receive alerts when the bus is near!
The app is FREE to all parents for the school year. Download the HereComestheBus app from the App Store or Google Play.
To sign up/activate the app you will need the code 82177.
In order to help the bus driver with transportation changes, all requests to ride a bus other than a student's assigned bus must now be requested using the DCSC Bus Change Form. The form is available on the website for parents to access if interested. Destination changes may still be made by notifying the front office. You may email us at southoffice@danville.k12.in.us or call 745-2131 before 2:00 p.m.
