Reminder: EWRSD Early Dismissal and Schools Closed
All East Windsor Regional School District schools will have an early dismissal on Tuesday, November 8. Kidcare will be open.
Schools will be closed on Thursday, November 10, and Friday, November 11. Kidcare will also be closed.
EWRSD Homework Free Holidays for 2022-23
In an effort to provide a sense of balance and to promote time spent with family, EWRSD students will not receive homework assignments or long-term projects that are due when they return to school after the breaks listed below. In addition, tests and quizzes will not be administered on the first day of school following the break.
- Thanksgiving Break: Wednesday, November 23, 2022, through Monday, November 28, 2022
- Winter Break: Friday, December 23, 2022, through Tuesday, January 3, 2023
- Spring Break: Wednesday, April 5, 2023, through Monday, April 17, 2023

The Walter C. Black Elementary School canned food drive from the student council is coming!
Grace N. Rogers Elementary School students and staff enjoyed a Fall themed door decorating activity this week.
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is a focus for the Drew School this year. It is important that students feel good about the place they go to school. Teachers do many things to make sure students are feeling strong and ready to learn but one thing that makes school a happier place to be, it is our Student Council Spirit Days! On November 2, we had our latest Spirit Day. During Wellness Wednesday, we focused on a sound mind and sound body by expressing ourselves with our favorite color.
Ms. Manise's class at Melvin H. Kreps Middle School participated in an Integers, Rational Numbers, Absolute Value, and Coordinate Plane Escape Room! Did the students escape room 203?
Melvin H. Kreps Middle School was happy to welcome Teen Pep Middle! Hightstown High School students did a great job presenting to our students.
Hightstown High School Gymnastics got their first and second team win in the month of October.
