Get Ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming our way.. Choosing their own books empowers kids and inspires them to become bolder, prouder, and stronger readers. AND… as always, every book they buy earns rewards for our school.
Here’s what you need to know about the Fair, which will take place in the Margaret Pardoe Collaboration and Communication Center (CCC) October 19 & 20 during conferences.
This year, say goodbye to cash and hello to eWallet—your child’s digital payment account. Before the Fair, set up eWallet for worry-free, cash-free purchases. Anyone can contribute! Share each child’s eWallet so friends and family can add funds and give your kids more books to enjoy.
If you can’t make it to the Fair, then shop at our school’s Online Book Fair. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Your online orders will also benefit our school. Books are great for birthday and Christmas gifts! Feel free to share the link with others along with ideas for books your children might like.
Visit our Book Fair homepage to learn more and get started with eWallet and online shopping:
The countdown to more Bookjoy is on! Catch you at the Fair!
P.S.: I look forward to having all of you visit for student-led conferences. Be sure to note that our schedule is different for conference week (see below).
Remember CPTO is tonight!
This week we had visitors from St. Athanasius Catholic School in Jesup. We were recommended to them as the best school to visit to learn about the Leader in Me! Two of our students shared their leadership notebooks and they did an amazing job!
The teachers who visited us from St. Athanasius were so impressed by your children and their leadership skills. Greeters boldly met them at the door. Two groups of Ambassadors and Lighthouse members showed them around the school and talked about all of our jobs and the skills they are learning. We are so proud!
