Week at Windsor 5.30.20
Looking back and ahead at Windsor news and happenings...
Dear Windsor Families,
It is difficult to believe the school year has officially come to an end.
Thank you for helping us to celebrate with everyone during Friday's end-of-year parade. It was wonderful to see everyone!
We will still be sending optional remote learning plans for 6.1.20 to 6.5.20 on Sunday evening. As a reminder, though, teachers will not send daily plans nor be available to answer questions/support these activities during the week. (Print copies will not be available.) Teachers will be engaged in year-end tasks and professional development. However, these optional plans are for you and your children to provide closure to the school year as needed.
Our Windsor Remote 3.0 Landing Pages have been featured on our website each week in addition to being sent home. Per many requests, we added past landing pages for families to reference, though, this is not necessary nor even recommended.
It is very important for parents and guardians to complete registration as soon as possible for the 20-21 school year, especially as we are monitoring class sizes, etc. More information is included below.
Finally, Student Materials Pick-Up/Drop-Off days are Monday-Wednesday next week. We have sent home information and it is also included below.
We will send home one final communication to close this school year. Have a great week and we will see many of you during our pick up days.
Sincerely,
Piper Boston, Principal @PrincipalBoston
Lindsay Anastacio, Assistant Principal @lindzana

End of Year Parade
Our Twitter page features many fun moments from Friday.
We also welcome families to add photos to this link.
Have Fun and Dance this Summer!
Just in case you missed it the first time!
Student Materials Collection Days
A few families have needed clarification on the signs that they are bringing for pick up. The number of bags are the number of students whose bags you are picking up. We clarified on this sign template as well.

Also, families are welcome to include a 4th bag labeled TEACHER if you have any gifts, cards, etc.
Remote Learning Pages
We share the week's remote learning plans for all grade levels Sunday evenings. Our Windsor Remote 3.0 Landing Pages have been featured each week on our web page under Families and Windsor Remote Learning.
We have posted all previous 3.0 Remote Learning Plans on our website to close this school year for interested families to reference this summer.
Some of the online learning links and accounts will continue to work this summer; though, they will not be personalized nor monitored/supported by teachers. Any sites like Seesaw, Google Classroom, etc. that feature 2-way communication, etc. will not remain live and active.

20-21 School Supplies Ordering
This year Windsor families have 2 vendors to choose from if ordering school supplies through the Windsor PTA. Here is a link with more information. https://windsorpta.org/2020/05/12/2020-school-supplies/
Note: A percentage of sales benefits the Windsor PTA! When ordering, please review and make sure you are ordering the correct grade for your child and save your email confirmation for receipt. Also, kits do not include headphones. Please plan to reuse or purchase headphones separately if requested by your student’s grade level.
