Kingsmen Parent Newsletter
My City, My School, My Family......NCM!
Week of October 18th, 2021
Greetings Kingsmen Families!
We hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! Many students attended our second Saturday School! Please remember we are open for school on Saturday (except on holiday weekends) from 8am until 12pm for students to receive help on assignments or for attendance recovery. Please feel free to encourage your child to attend!
We will have a School Site Council meeting on Tuesday, October 19th at 3:20pm. This meeting is open to the public, however only elected members may vote on agenda items. Public communication is permitted during the portion of the agenda. Click here for the meeting agenda link and login information.
Students should be working on submitting assignments on Jupiter this week. This is the final week teachers will be accepting assignments before the upcoming progress report. Progress Report 2 will be available in the Infinite Campus Portal on Friday, October 29th, 2021. Students earning an A, B or C are on target to pass at the end of the semester. If students have a D, F or I, it will be harder to catch up before the end of the semester but it can be done with determination! It's never too late to learn!
Please be mindful of the following dates:
- October 19, 2021: School Site Council Meeting #2 at 3:20pm
- October 23, 2021: Saturday School
- October 25, 2021: Red Ribbon Week Begins
- October 27, 2021: ELAC Meeting at 10:30am
