Montessori Elementary- The Flint Montessori Elementary program is application-based. Applications will be accepted starting February 26, 2018 for the 2018-19 school year. Applications received by the Office of Centralized Enrollment by May 15, 2018 will be considered as a group based on established criteria. The application is available online to download and hard copies are available at the Flint Community Schools Office of Centralized Enrollment (923 E. Kearsley St.) and Durant Tuuri Mott Elementary. Students who apply between February 26 and May 15 will be notified of their acceptance to enroll or status on the wait list in mid-June.
Montessori Pre-Kindergarten- The Montessori pre-kindergarten program is the part of the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP). To begin the pre-registration process please visit www.geneseepreschool.org or call (810) 59-KIDS. Be sure to select Flint Durant Tuuri Mott Elementary Montessori-GSRP as your preferred program. (All Flint 4-year-olds exposed to the water crisis currently qualify for free pre-kindergarten through GSRP regardless of income.) Did you know that Montessori for Flint is always accepting donations? Both monetary and material donations are graciously accepted. All donations are utilized to ensure that children in the program have the highest quality materials possible and that classrooms are able to operate with fidelity to the Montessori model.
