All's Well That Ends Well

It's all about the Bard

Thoughts as we end Fall Semester

Tenth grade students are ending Fall Semester with a study of William Shakespeare's Macbeth.

AP Literature students are also tackling a Shakespeare play, The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark. Shakespeare has had an important impact on the development of the English language and literature. This Elizabethan playwright showed the versatility of the English language through his witty plays and memorable poetry.

Ninth graders are reading and analyzing the characteristics of epic poetry and focusing on learning the patterns of The Hero's Journey and other Archetypes as we close this semester. The journey of Odysseus was a 10 year trial that led to many rewards. Kind of like fall semester!
