It's 2nd Round Observation season, FYI.

SHORT WEEK

Wednesday, 1/20/16: PLC's, STEM Open House. Please arrive by 5:15pm as traffic will probably be heavy. Please prepare to showcase BHES, not necessarily STEM as we have not been a full STEM school yet. If you have projects you wish to display, please do so as we will have current parents on campus as well and they may want to check up on their kids and observe what they are doing, etc. Here is the schedule for the evening:

(Dress for the evening is business/professional since most parents will be meeting us for the first time. Thank you!)

5:45-6:05pm: Parents arrive and gather in the cafeteria.

6:05-6:30pm: Main presentation in BHES Cafeteria (Steele/Baaden)

6:30-6:40pm: Questions

6:40-7:00pm: Tours of the school by grade level (Teachers will be dismissed with that grade level of parents and will tour them through their appropriate grade level classrooms and maybe some common areas such as the gym, media center, etc.

7:10pm: All call for Open House to officially be over but admin will remain in cafeteria for questions, applications, etc.

AS OF LAST FRIDAY, BHES had 77 applicants to our STEM Program. This is exciting and does not include current students who are automatically admitted.

Thursday, 1/21/16: PLC's (Hospitality--DUTY FREE)

Friday, 1/22/16: PANTHER SPIRIT DAY!

SPECIAL AREA January PLC: Music, Art, PE (Off campus on Tuesdays/Thursdays), Media, and Guidance will be held at 11:10am on Tuesday, January 26th in the conference room.

Mr. Michael Baaden, Assistant Principal of Instruction

Mr. Baaden is the Assistant Principal of Instruction at BHES. He began here at BHES last year as the 5th grade Science teacher.
