Childcare Subsidy Program
El condado de Washington ha obtenido una subvención a través de la Ley federal CARES para proporcionar subsidios para el cuidado de niños a los padres y/o tutores. El Distrito Escolar de Beaverton distribuirá aproximadamente $2.4 millones a las familias que sean elegibles y soliciten estos subsidios. En otras palabras, si paga una guardería, podría ser elegible para recibir dinero para ayudar a cubrir algunos o todos sus gastos. ¡Aplicaciones disponibles el miércoles 28 de octubre!

Mecado de Merlo- Merlo Market
Merlo Station Campus now has a small food and home supplies market; Mercado de Merlo is for the students and families in all of our programs. We receive some food from local partners and the rest is donated by supporters. Mercado is open by appointment only and measures are in place to ensure safety. Contact Erin Wirtz at email@example.com or the Merlo Main office to make an appointment.

Social Worker Virtual drop-in Wellness Center for Merlo Station students on Mondays and Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
This can be a time to check-in, to talk, to listen, to learn some new skills, or more.

This month we will start assisting students to complete Financial Aid applications:
FAFSA (for documented students)
ORSAA (for undocumented students)
All students who plan to attend 4-year university or community college, need to apply for financial aid. Many of our seniors will qualify for grant money to help them pay for post-high school education. Grant money is not a loan, it doesn't need to be paid back. It's the best kind!
Seniors will be asking you for some help. They will need access to your 2019 tax information and you will need to sign their application.
These guides are my favorite resource on FAFSA because they are simple, helpful, and easy to understand. I encourage you to take a look!
