Testing for IREAD is in less than one month. Please note the testing schedule to plan appointments accordingly, as students will not be permitted to enter or leave during testing.

Brave Generation (our MacEl Choir) performed in concert with 13 area schools at Western High School for a statewide choral event called Circle the State with Song. Maconaquah Elementary was represented very well by our dedicated music students. Congratulations!!

We are grateful to the Northern Indiana Community Foundation for the grant that provided funds for the cost of our students to participate.

When calling in your student's absence, please give the reason they are absent. As attendance is required by the state, it needs to be documented. Also, after five (5) absences by a call-in, a doctor's note is required for a future absence to be excused. Thank you for your efforts to get your student to school, as good attendance is vital to student success.
