October is National Bullying Prevention Month

Why is it important?

  • Students feel safer
  • Brings a sense of teamwork. We can't work on this problem alone!
  • Confronting bullying early in the school year sets us in the right direction for the entire school year

Wednesday, October 20th is International Unity Day---Wear Orange to show unity for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion and to send a visible message that no child should ever experience bullying.

Friday, October 22nd-Kids Wear Pink Spirit Day

Thank you for following traffic rules. Our students are safer because you are careful.

A few things to remember
  • Please drive slowly
  • Please do not use your cell phone
  • Please do not make U turns in the middle of the street
  • Please do not park in the field or in the VFW parking lot
  • Please observe and follow all signs

Planning Ahead

Please talk about afterschool plans with your child before dropping them off at school. Unless it is an emergency we do not interrupt instruction to get messages to students. Teachers check texts, DOJO, emails, voicemails, etc. either before or after school, not during the school day. So we respectfully request that plans are made ahead of time.

Thank you for your understanding.

Communication is Key!

Please contact me with questions, concerns, ideas, and for clarification.
