✨ Calling all students! It's time to share your mad skills for using GCA technology. Do you have a tech tip for staying organized? A unique way you're using the Chromebook views? A tip you've used in Google Docs? We are opening a new request form in the Student & Family Help Center titled Submit a Tech Tip. If your tech tip is chosen to be published, an article will be created in the Help Center and you will be featured in our next Student Tech Newsletter! We can't wait to hear from you!
🌎 Like all staff at GCA, the Student Tech Support team values the diversity of our student body. We are always looking for new ways to offer broader support. Check out the translation feature for Spanish articles in our Student & Family Help Center! On the home page of the Student & Family Help Center page, scroll to the bottom and toggle the English/Spanish option. All available articles translated to Spanish will show on screen. Videos in Spanish coming soon! Take a look at this one, and turn on English captions!
Did you know that when you're logged in to the Student & Family Help Center, you can easily view all your previous requests for help? You can see the conversation thread between you and the Student Support Specialist and even add to the conversation right there. It's a fast way to review the helpful suggestions and solutions you received in the past!
Here's another great tip for keeping your GCA Chromebook in shape! Restarting your GCA Chromebook on a daily basis gives it a chance to catch up with all the program updates and newest versions of everything. It's not the same as just signing out or closing it down so be sure to follow these instructions!
