This week all of our students got to experience some phenomenal acting and singing from the Flat Rock Playhouse! Our K-3rd graders saw an awesome Letterland Alive Show that brought all our Letterland characters alive. Our 4th and 5th graders watched a production that was based on North Carolina history!

Our Family Engagement team met this week and we have put together several activities for our families to connect and get involved! Our first two events will be my principal advisory meeting, and we will have a family play day. It continues to be our desire as a school to continue to find ways to connect to all of our families. We would love to see everyone out to play and engage with us! Look out for more dates and activities throughout the year!

Sept. 28th Picture Day: Picture day will be on Wednesday. Order forms have been sent home so if you did not receive one please let us know.

Sept. 29th Midterms:Your students' midterm will be sent and emailed to you on Thursday of this week. This is the progress of our 3rd - 5th grade students for their first 4 weeks.

October 5th: Our fourth grade students will be heading to Outdoor Ed this year to learn so really cool outdoor skills!

October 8th Family Play Day: Our first family play day will be the 8th! This is simply a time that families can come and play together outside and have an opportunity to meet other families and staff members. All are welcome!!
