Principal Message
Attendance: Week of October 13-15: 88.45%
Halloween Costumes: Students & Teachers are invited to wear costumes on Friday, October 29. Costume masks & weapons will not be permitted.
PTA: We will have our first PTA meeting on Tuesday, October 26th in the cafeteria. Please support our school and have a voice. You can still join at joinpta.org.
Spelling Bee: We will be having our first school wide spelling bee this school year! Classroom level spelling bees will be in your child's advisory class on Wednesday, November 17th. Your child should see their English Language Arts for their spelling list. Mrs. Demian will work with students who wish to prepare for the spelling bee on "Wordy Wednesdays" starting October 13th during lunches, and after school with prior arrangements made through Mrs. Demian. We are looking forward to showing the district what great spellers we have!
Dress Code: As a reminder, hats are not allowed in the building. However, we do encourage students to wear their hats when eating lunch outside.
Game/Event Attendance: We are thankful for our students attending games and want to continue encouraging them to attend. However, we have seen an uprise of issues with students at events.
Students must leave campus and come back for the game when it is begins. Students will not be allowed to wait around for the game to start.
Please remind your student(s) that they must still follow all school rules while at any school event; this includes the dress code. Students will not be allowed to back in the game once they leave. Parents/Guardians will be asked to pick up their student if there is any issue with their student(s) at the event. If this continues to be an issue, we will be asking parents to attend games with their student(s)
