Willow Springs Orchestra Newsletter

March 23, 2017

First off, thank you to everyone who came out to Twisted Root on Tuesday, we really appreciate your support! We hope that everyone has had a wonderful spring break and are starting to fall back into routine for the last few weeks of school! This will be a fast and furious end to the year, so we will try and keep everyone updated and in the loop as best we can.

We have several events that will coming up immediately following Spring Break. Be sure to mark your calendar!

We are so very proud of the Philharmonic and Chamber Orchestra's on their performance at Pre-UIL Tuesday night. They did a fantastic job and the judges gave some great comments on how to clean our performance for UIL the first week of April.

Tomorrow night the Philharmonic and Chamber Orchestra students have a required UIL Clinic after school. Immediately following the clinic, we will have a pizza party and movie night! Students will be ready to be picked up from Willow Springs by 8 p.m.

If you have any questions please let us know!

Philharmonic and Chamber Orchestra UIL Rehearsal and Pizza Party

Our students are working very hard on their UIL Music and doing a great job preparing for one of our biggest events of the year!

We have been given an amazing opportunity for our students to work with some of the finest directors in our area before we go to contest in April. I am always grateful for the opportunity for our kids to get guidance from some of my colleagues!

We will be adding one date to our calendar in the month of March. It is very important for all students to be at this rehearsal so that we can be at our very best for UIL…and I can guarantee it will be an experience they won’t want to miss and we’ll feed your kids dinner! Here are the details –

Where: WSMS Fine Arts Area

Time: 4:30 – 6:00 PM Rehearsal (Students will just stay afterschool)
