Welcome
Welcome to the newsletter for the NMES Media Center! Read below for information and updates on media center programs and lessons. If you have any questions or need more information, please email Mrs. Siderius, our media specialist, at jennifer.siderius@fcps.org.
Willy Wonka Visits
We had so much fun with Willy Wonka, aka Mr. Bowser, visiting us on October 10th! He passed out chocolate treats to the teachers and several won "golden tickets" to our upcoming bookfair!
Coding
We are enjoying all of the robots that the media center owns to practice our coding. These students have a growth mindset to combine their mapping skills with coding!
Flashlight Fundays
What a fun way to practice our reading on Flashlight Funday! Thanks to other media specialists for the inspiration!
Digital Citizenship Week
The week of October 16th is Digital Citizenship Week! The media center is hosting a Device Free Dinner challenge. For more information on how to participate, visit http://bit.ly/2dUTdXw . Some lucky students who participate will win book fair gift cards!
