Let's Get Started!
Welcome back to another year, or perhaps your first year, at Monroe High. I am happy to be returning as your Instructional Technology Facilitator for this school year as we dive into the Chromebook environment!! I will be scheduled at MHS on Wednesday and Thursday of each week when school begins. As always, you can reach me via email (becky.swiger@ucps.k12.nc.us) or Lync. Please reference some useful information below! Our monthly PD sessions will begin in September!
Google Apps for Education (GAFE)
Please try logging into your UCPS Google account. Make sure that you are logging in with your first.lastname@ucps.k12.nc.us. If this is your first time logging into your account, the default password is unioncounty (all lowercase and one word). If you have forgotten your password, please submit a Help Desk ticket and the password will be reset for you.
Moodle High & Moodle Pro
Moodle will be used again this year! If you are experiencing issues logging into Moodle do not worry! This is known and is being handled. This will be addressed with the staff next week!
Chromebooks and X1s
Chromebooks are in the building and secured! We have met over the summer to create a plan for deploying these devices to our students. Teacher laptops will be handed out next week!
