Come Celebrate

We will have a variety of frozen treats for the faculty in the kindergarten wing after dismissal to celebrate the end of our first day together. Come say hello to your colleagues and give a high five to our first year teachers who finished their first day !!!

Don't Forget:

  • Complete the Staff Spotlight template and print a hard copy. Place in Mrs. DiStasio's box in the main office

  • Are all the bulletin boards in your area of the building ready for students? Please take the lead and work together

  • We are all implementing "Week 1" of The First Six Weeks of School. to follow the principles of Responsive Classroom. What are your student's hopes and dreams? How will you model and explicitly teach all needed routines? Lesson plans should reflect the incorporation of this resource. (Hard Copy available from Mr. Ward, .pdf is in Canvas)

  • Complete required elements in Canvas "Rosewood Staff Development" course by the end of August

Thank you, thank you, thank you for making the Back To School BBQ a huge success. Each year this event has grown and gotten better thanks to the hard work of so many dedicated staff members. Parents had wonderful things to say and kids really had a great time. The presence of so many community organizations speaks volumes about where we are going as a school. Thank you for going above and beyond for our students.

Please be sure to thank the PTO Board members (Ashley Edwards, Mandy Deller, Jenn Long and Ben Massey) and others who did so much to help make this year extra special. The feedback from families was amazing ! We had such fun we didn't take any photos...wish we had some of all of us doing the Hokey Pokey !!!
