Cardboard We created a skeleton of cardboard first. The cardboard was sourced from a 5 layer piano box. Intersecting beams were used to make the skeleton able to support extreme stress. | Tape Then, we taped everything together using fiberglass-reinforced tape to make it stable, and so that it doesn't move around. | Paper Mâché Finally, we paper mâchéd our furniture so that it would be easier to paint evenly on. The paper maché finish also makes the paint finish very smooth. |
