Greetings Panthers!
Did you know that we met our 95% daily attendance goal four time in the past month? Great job being here all day everyday!
Our 3rd-5th grade students have completed, or are almost done with finishing their annual state assessments. Up next are the Spring I-Ready assessments for reading and math. We use the I-Ready assessments to help plan for classroom instructional needs and individual student supports. Please continue having your child read and practice math at home. If you are looking for fun and safe on-line learning resources most of our students know their log-in information for math through www.prodigygame.com and reading at www.raz-plus.com .
I look forward to seeing our families and community members at the upcoming Spring Family Night on 5/17, the track meets on 5/20 and 5/30, and our end of year celebrations.
Mr. Fechter

medications
Parents please note the following items:
1. If your student has medication at school, make plans to retrieve it on the last day of school – Wednesday, June 19, 2019. Medication that is not picked up will be discarded immediately (exceptions may apply – contact the nurse with questions).
2. All medication authorization forms (for any and all medications) must be updated each school year – there are no exceptions. This applies even if your student had a new authorization the last few months of school. Medication forms for next year are in the school office.
3. For students with serious health conditions, the updated individualized health plans (IHPs) will be sent home. These IHPs - plus medication forms and medication, if necessary - need to be submitted to the school office prior to the first day of school, August 27, 2019. The school office opens August 12, 2019.
Please contact the school nurse with any questions or concerns.
IMMUNIZATIONS
Prior to entering sixth grade, your child will need the following vaccine: Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis). A health check-up that includes vaccinations is recommended for all children ages 11-12 years. Schedule your child’s check-up appointment on or after the 11th birthday to make sure your child gets the vaccinations needed for school. Your child will be excluded from school unless the date for the Tdap has been received. If you have any questions, please contact the school nurse with any questions or concerns.
