Canada 2040

The median age in 2040 would probably be around 45-49

The fertility rate would probably be 1.44

Percentage of population over 60-65 would be around 30-35%

In 2040 Canada's median age is going to increase and the fertility rate will decrease. Also, the percentage of population over 60-65 is going to increase and this is due to better education, health care, jobs and etc.

Push/Pull factors 2040 Canada and Mexico

Pull factors

  • Better education
  • More job opportunities
  • Improved health care

Push factors

  • Taxes
  • Natural hazards

I think the factors affect these countries because everyone looks to settle where there are better jobs, more job opportunities and improved health care.Better education to qualify for jobs, more jobs for money and improved health care for a healthy living and more cures to diseases. Taxes and natural hazards will make people emigrate from that country because they can't afford the money to pay for taxes .Also, they don't want to live in a country where it is likely for a natural disaster.

Mexico 2040

The median age in 2040 would probably be around 35-40

The fertility rate would probably be 1.70

Percentage of people over 60-65 would be around 15-20%

In 2040 Mexico's median age would increase and so would the percentage of population over 60-65. The fertility rate would decrease. These are all affected by improvement of health care, better education and more development of jobs.
