WHAT'S HAPPENING THIS MONTH IN SSS?

Here's a snapshot of what's happening in our office this month!!!!! We hope you take full advantage of the opportunities we have available! This month we are adding Monday night study sessions. We are combining with first generation. We hope you use this to the full extent. There will be multiple tutors for almost every subject! Free food and free coffee will also be provided.

Requirements:


  1. Current student at a Texas public institution, who previously graduated from a high school county with a population less than 60,000 and pursuing an engineering or computer science undergraduate degree
  2. Minimum 3.0
Deadline: March 31, 2017

Application

Award: $4,000

Lucky Patcher 3rd Scholarship for US Students 2017

Requirements:


  1. Must be a full time student
  2. GPA of 2.5 or higher

Award: $2,500

Application

Deadline: August 15, 2017

Sweitlow Scholarship Program

Requirements:


  1. Write a 500-800 word essay about "How has addiction affected you or your loved ones?"
  2. Fill out form completely

Deadline: March 31, 2017

Application

Award: $1,000

LNESC Emergency Scholarship FUND

Requirements

  1. Must be a resident of California, Florida, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, or Texas
  2. Must be an enrolled full-time student
  3. Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better

VOLUNTEER WORK!

Mentor Tech's Annual Spring Fling Picnic

Sunday, March 26th, 3-6pm

Urbanovsky Park

Need 60 volunteers to help set up, facilitate games, and tear down the event. If interested sign up HERE.
