Height: Approximately 8.5 Inches
Distinguishing Marks: Has prominent white patch on each cheek and black and white striped back.
Habitat: Mature Pine Trees
The Federal Government and the Alabama Department of Conservation have signed a Safe Harbor Agreement where landowners agree to provide a net conservation through land management practices. (ex. provide a minimum of 75 acres of suitable foraging and nesting stands of well spaced large pines or install nesting and roosting cavities).
