Mustang Monday Message

Mustang Family,

Last week we had a great first week returning back to school! It was wonderful to welcome back returning Mustangs and to welcome new friends.

We are excited to announce that our theme this year will be "Enjoy the Ride." As we intentionally look for the good, bring fun into what we do, and develop an attitude of gratitude, we will find greater joy and satisfaction in what we do.

Last year, COVID made everything a bit more challenging for everyone, but it proved just how resilient and gritty this community is! There is not a community I would rather work with during these challenging times. I feel immensely blessed and humbled to serve with such incredible students, parents, committed educators, secretaries, custodians, lunch workers, and technicians who work hard to bless the lives of children! I am very excited about the new teammates we’ve added— I am confident that their individual experiences and talents will add depth and wisdom to our Mustang team!

At Meadow Brook we highly value collaboration amongst students, staff, and parents. We know ongoing communication between home and school is paramount to providing an excellent education; please do not hesitate to reach out to me, or to your child's teacher, if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas that you would like to discuss. We are optimistic that as we work together we will Enjoy the Ride!

I look forward to a great year ahead of us! Life is a journey, let's ENJOY THE RIDE!

Breakfast & Lunch

In an effort to help those who’ve been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. Department of Agriculture has extended a grant for ALL students nationwide to provide free breakfast and lunch during this school year.

We would encourage all of you to be a member of our PTA. There is a place for everyone on PTA and we’d love your help during this upcoming school year! Please stop by the PTA table during MB's Open House and sign-up for a membership.

A few reminders:

  • When you are picking up your student on the north side of the building, please pull as far forward as possible. When patrons stop in the middle of the pick-up area, it backs all of the cars up.
  • In order to be on the playground before, during, or after school, you will need to check in at the office. This helps us keep our students safe.
