Later on I will split the class into developmentally appropriate spelling groups based on their spelling stages and there will be different spelling sorts in class.
Beginning of Year Assessments
I am working with students individually to see where they are academically. All students will be seen individually for subject areas. The information that I observe will be used to drive my instruction for the students.

Library Info
Students are allowed to check-out two books at a time at the beginning of the year while they get into the routine of checking out books. Books can be returned any day of the week and new books can be checked out at that time. Students can exchange books before school and at recess. If students want to check out books during library time, then they need to bring their books back on Sundays. Please contact Ms. Cindy, the librarian, for more info: cwright@asd.edu.qa. The library is always looking for parent volunteers too!
