Our Mission:
Welcome to Lincoln, Assistant Principal Mr. Coleman!
Spirit Week at Lincoln October 25 - October 29
Here are our upcoming Halloween 2021 Happenings at Lincoln:
- Lincoln PTA will be sponsoring our Lincoln tradition of The Pumpkin Patch this year. Families can decorate a pumpkin and drop if off to a PTA parent stationed at door 1 on Wednesday 10/27 and Thursday 10/28 between 8:00 am and 8:30 am. PTA will share more details soon. Pumpkins will be sent home with students end of day on Friday, 10/29, or can be picked up outside door 1 after school on 10/29.
- There will also be a Halloween Theme Week in all CCSD15 schools Monday 10/25 - Friday, October 29. Details will be shared with all schools soon.
- On Friday, October 29, students can wear their Halloween costumes to school. We encourage simple costumes that can be worn over clothes and removed easily and independently if needed. If students choose to bring their costumes to school, they need to be able to independently put it on in the classroom. Masks that cover the face are not allowed. (However, students are expected to wear a face covering mask to school each day.) No violent costumes/fake weapons, or costumes with fake blood are allowed. Costume make-up is allowed as long as it does not cover the student's entire face. Staff members must be able to identify students.
- There will be a morning Halloween parade for AM Kindy and grades 1-6 at 10:00 am. Classrooms will exit doors 2 and 3, parade down one side of Ridgewood and cross the street, and then enter back into the building through doors, 4, 5 and 6 depending on proximity to classrooms.
- PM Kindy will have an afternoon parade at 1:30 pm outside.
- If the weather does not cooperate, the parades will be canceled.
PTA Room Parents will work with the classroom teacher to provide an activity for each classroom to do on Friday. There will be no volunteers or visitors in classrooms again this year on Halloween. Remember that there is no food at CCSD15 Halloween parties. If PTA Room Reps need supplies for the activity, please reach out to Mrs. Knoeppel or Mrs. Wille. We can supply items such as tissue paper, card stock, and construction paper. Please don't hesitate to call Mrs. Knoeppel if you have any questions. 847.963.5700
