A Week in Review
Genius Hour
This Friday, we experienced our 2nd day of Genius Hour! We partnered with our shoulder and face partners to interview about our passions. Students are really beginning to zone in on their passions. See photos below!
A Peek Into Next Week
We completed our first unit in math this week. Students took their post-test today. Results will be sent home next Monday, September 28th. When you receive it, please sign and have your child return it. This will give you the opportunity to celebrate and/or go over misconceptions or errors.
Next week students will be grouped based on their results of the post-test. If they are applying (3) or extending (4) they will be working on enrichment activities. If students are developing (2) or beginning (1) they will be re-taught the content and given the test again next Friday, October 2nd.
In the next few weeks, students will be taking the personal narrative test in writing. A note will come home informing you of the date of the test. Students will be given a few days to get their thoughts together about what they may want to write.
