District Tech Support Important Announcement!!
KCKPS Tech Support has moved
locations in preparation for the winter months!!
What this is means is that anyone needing assistance with broken iPads or computers, or replacement charging devices will still go to 2220 N. 59th Street, Kansas City, Kansas.
Go down the stairs to left side of the blue awning located on the north side of the building and push the buzzer for assistance.
Face masks will be required, and if there is a line, social distancing will be required.
KCKPS technology experts will be available to assist you Monday through Friday from 9am until 4pm.
If you need assistance upon arrival you can call 913-627-3320.
Additional Questions
What if we still do not have internet at our house?
The district has purchased additional hotspots for students who do not currently have internet in their home. Parents should contact their child’s school for a hotspot.
How much does it cost if my device is broken or I need a replacement part?
Fee Chart:
iPads and Chromebooks
- Physical damage $25
- Missing charger $25
- Device missing or stolen $50
Douglass Building Tech Support
Douglass building technology support will be provided every Monday from 11am-1pm at the playground entrance by Mr. Page. Families may come during this time in order to receive support on student devices and ask possible online learning questions. Any other times will need to be scheduled by the student's specific classroom teacher.
Douglass Connectivity Hub
The Connectivity Hub is up and running. If you are struggling with internet issues the school has rooms available for families to use to access remote instruction. The times available for families are Mon-Fri 9-11, 1-3, and Tuesdays and Thursdays 5-7 by appointment. Please contact the school for further information.
KidZone Learning Center
KidZone Learning Center of Wyandotte County recently received a CARES ACT Remote Learning Grant to support K-12 students enrolled in school and who are learning remotely. Our program operates M-F from 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM and includes breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack for every student in attendance. Our classroom facilitators will assist students in accessing the internet, in making sure that they stay on task and are following their class schedule and will be available to help answer any questions that students may have. The cost is $10 per day per student, but the fee may be waived based on financial need. No one will be turned away.

Parent Support Group
PACES is offering a virtual Parent Support Group that meets every Monday via Zoom. If you are interested, please contact them directly, or reach out to our school social worker (Mrs. Marsh) for more information.
