PLP Crush Hall of Fame

It’s truly crazy that we are already on week three of PLP Crush Hall of Fame!
Zach’s wall is getting pretty beautiful already, so make sure you come up to the Fellow’s office and check it out. As you know, this month’s theme is Young Celebrities, and we are back to male celebs. We are really excited about this week’s contestants, and hope you don’t have too much trouble narrowing down your choice. Last week’s poll came down to FIVE VOTES, so you can really make a difference! Make sure you click the link to make your vote count!

Remember, if you have any suggestions for male or female crushes/different themes for each month feel free to email Zach at zachary.walseman@cnu.edu with your ideas!

Don't forget to vote in the Midterm Elections!

There's an easy way! Register at cnu.turbovote.org! Christopher Newport University seeks to inspire our students to lead lives of significance and be responsible leaders and citizens in their communities, the nation and the world. To that end, exercising your right to vote is an important aspect of your civic duty!

There is still time to register to vote for the MIDTERM ELECTIONS on November 4th. TurboVote makes it easier than ever to register. Go to cnu.turbovote.org and register online. When you sign up with TurboVote, you will be able to access everything you need to register to vote, stay registered to vote if you move, vote absentee, and get reminders about every local, state, and federal election regardless of where you move.

TurboVote simplifies the voting process so that you, the voters, can focus on what's important: the candidates and questions on the ballot. However, like any other initiative, participation is key - you must take the first step and register online now. Voting not only allows each individual to make their voice heard, but also for out community to play a role in shaping decision that affect all of us.

This voter registration initiative is sponsored by the Virginia21 student organization at CNU. For information about Virginia21 or how to become involved with voter registration, contact David Snyder (david.snyder.11@cnu.edu), President of VA21 at CNU.
