Using Presentations to Give Information to Others

1) Emaze
- Prezi-esque;
- Uses motion, 3D text/pictures and font changes to spice up an otherwise boring presentation
- Can upload an existing PowerPoint and it will "Emaze" it for you! (And then you can edit!)

2) Prezi
- Similar to Emaze, but less user friendly and with fewer options to choose from
- FREE!

- Students are active participants in presentation, teacher creates formative assessment questions as presentation continues
- Uses motion, 3D text/pictures and font changes to spice up an otherwise boring presentation
- Can upload an existing PowerPoint and it will allow you editable features
- Students enter a PIN to join a session
- Data on assessment answers is kept and accessible to teacher

- FREE trial, Payment to allow access for all students
- Captures desktop images and computer microphone to make short videos using YOUR narrative voice and the presentation information on your desktop
- Sample Screen-Cast-O-Matic video
- FREE (but has the ability to pay for upgrade - but not necessary for most school/classroom uses)
