Dear Lincoln Parents and Guardians,
MAP testing will finish up next week, and IAR/ISA testing begins the first week of May. The testing schedules are listed below.
Now that our testing schedule is set, we are beginning to finalize events for the remainder of our school year. I want to share with our graduates' families that graduation is confirmed for Thursday, May 27, 2021. The event will take place in the Prospect High School Field House in the evening. Details will be shared with families in upcoming communications. I appreciate your continued patience in the weeks ahead as we try to bring this challenging year to a memorable close for our students.
Have a great weekend,
Lincoln Social Workers . . .
In a typical school year, Lincoln students would participate in a presentation during their Physical Education class to educate them in an age-appropriate way about the topic of childhood sexual abuse. These valuable presentations teach students more about personal safety, safe vs. unsafe touches, safety steps to follow if someone breaks the touching rule, sexual harassment, and teen dating violence. We were scheduled to complete these presentations in April this year in compliance with Erin’s Law, which mandates education about sexual abuse prevention for public school children in Illinois.
Since we are unable to give our presentations in person due to the district's social distancing guidelines, we would like to share the resource below from the Erin’s Law website for you as parents to review. If you would like to, we also encourage you to have a discussion with your children about this important topic. Please do not hesitate to contact us at either email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any follow up questions!

THE HEALTH OFFICE . . . PLEASE READ IF YOUR STUDENT IS IN-PERSON
If you notify the school that your student is experiencing any of the symptoms that are shared with covid-19 (fever, headache, shortness of breath, cough, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, new loss of sense of taste or smell, fatigue, muscle or body aches), your student cannot attend school until at least 10 days have passed since symptom onset OR your student can return earlier if they are evaluated by a medical doctor and undergo Covid testing as directed by MD. In order to return to school prior to the end of 10 days, you will need a note from your MD stating Covid status, diagnosis and return to school date.
