Week of 3-4-19
March Comes in Like a.....
Not sure if Friday was a Lion or a Lamb day as it was so busy it was over before I knew it! Still hoping for that 'early spring' the ground hog predicted and am hearing cardinals singing during my daily 5:30 AM walk with the pups, so who knows!
We have the first week of Literacy Training for all classroom teachers at Morgan this week. Today, we were covered for subs. Tomorrow, we are short 3. I'm still hoping for coverage on at least one more and we can make it work. I will keep you posted! Next week looks worse. There is a day when 5 positions are not covered for Day 2 of training. Again, we will continue to monitor the situation.
Staff Meeting on 3/12/19. We are supposed to have a staff meeting this date, and now we have 12 staff members attending the Language and Literacy Training instead, which was scheduled after our reserved staff meeting date. So.....Cancel next week's staff meeting. I can't meet the following week due to a Principal's meeting. Our next meeting will be on March 26 and will cover Assessment Accountability and Security for all staff members. Our Literacy Essential 3 will be the first meeting in April instead.
Have a great week!
