Summer dress code in effect June 1

Human Capital Management advises that the summer dress code for employees goes into effect June 1. From June 1 through Sept. 25, employees are permitted to wear relaxed, professional attire. Go here to see a memo and specific guidelines from HCM Chief Karry Chapman

Librarians Corner:

I am so excited to announce that Emily Martinez’s poem that she submitted for the Dallas Public Library Express Yourself Poetry Competition was selected and is featured in the

20th Annual Youth Anthology. Emily joins the rank of published authors! She is the second student from Dorsey (Daniel Juarez 2010) to receive this honor. Let’s celebrate and congratulate Emily Martinez!
