Spanish 1 w/ Señor Hall at NCVPS
Updates from Señor Hall for Spanish 1
Week 4 ~ Spanish 1 w/ Señor Hall
Almost half way through the Summer Semester! That's cray!!
This is a good week to do a pulse check and make sure you are happy where you are with your grades.
Also always double check your grades. I accidently gave some students a 0 on work they had completed. Also may feedback was Great job....Here's a 0! So please double check me and be proactive about your own success. Its not on purpose..trust me! It just happens and I am not perfect.
Have a great week!!
General Reminders
- Please use complete sentences when answering the questions.
- Remember to use capital letters at the beginning of a sentence in both Spanish and English. :)
- Proper nouns like the names of people, places and things should be capitalized.
- Don't forget periods at the end of sentences in Spanish. Its just like English in this way. :)
- Remember that for Escribir Assignments you can submit 2 attempts. But always read the feedback and try to learn from your mistakes before submitting the 2nd attempt.
- Lastly make sure to pay attention to proper spelling in both languages.
Let me know if you have any questions on your mistakes or my comments.

Required Live Class (RLC) Schedule
The purpose of the Required Live Classes (RLC) is to give students access to their teachers for lessons, Q & A and support in their Spanish classes. The RLC sessions are offered every week at a variety of times. You may attend any session you like. Choose the one that best fits your schedule.
Here is a Google Calendar link to all the Spanish 1 sessions:
Just pay attention to the times, dates and topics:
Remember GS = Getting Started
U1 = Unit 1
U2 = Unit 2
After attending each session, you need to complete a brief reflective assignment including the following items:
When did you attend (provide date and time)?
Who was the teacher/presenter?
What did you cover/learn? (You should include a complete copy of your notes with at least 10 specific things discussed/covered.)
What do you still have questions about? (You should always have questions, so do NOT put "none.")
What do you need to work on/improve? (This should be specific, regarding at least one thing that was discussed in the session.)
How do you plan to improve in the area/s listed above? (Again, be as specific as possible.)
How can I (your teacher) help you? (Again, be as specific as possible.)
Please use COMPLETE SENTENCES in your responses and submit this at the bottom of the RLC Assignment page.
