Mrs. Cottongame is an 11-year education veteran with experience as a principal, assistant principal, elementary bilingual teacher, and bilingual education coordinator. She has spent the past three years in Brave Nation, including serving as the principal of McClendon Elementary for the 2021-22 school year. Mrs. Cottongame will remain in the role of McClendon Principal until June 30, 2022.
Mrs. Cottongame holds a Bachelors in EC-4 Bilingual Education from Texas A&M-Commerce, a Masters in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin, and teaching and Principal certifications. She is married to Brian Cottongame, and the couple has two children, Rylie (7th) and Levi (5th), who attend Community ISD.

Mrs. Solis has been with Community ISD for 15 years, including seven as a Curriculum & Instruction Coordinator.
Mr. Crawford, currently serving as an assistant principal of Dartmouth Elementary in Richardson ISD, comes to Brave Nation with over a decade of experience in education, and his family already live in and attend school within the District.
