Pennsbury High School 2021 PSAT/NMSQT


(Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test)

DATE: Saturday, October 16, 2021

REPORT TIME: 8:00am (Testing will conclude approx. 11:30am)


COST: $32.00

The 2021 PSAT/NMSQT will take place on SATURDAY, October 16, 2021.

The PSAT is recommended for all 10th and 11th graders considering post-secondary education. More information is available here: the-test/key-features

Seats are limited so early registration is encouraged. No registrations will be accepted after 10/11. If you have questions about whether your child should register for the test, please feel free to reach out to their counselor.

Are you taking business or computer science courses? Do you want to stand out to colleges? Join National Business Honor Society. NBHS is now recruiting 10th - 12th graders with a 3.0 GPA or higher, who plan to take at least four business or computer science courses before graduation. Apply at, or scan the QR code. Voting for Senior Class President is now open

Attention Seniors! Voting for Senior Class president is now available in the 2022 Class Canvas Course.

Voting will end at 2:15, on Tuesday the 5th.

Pennsbury High School is once again hosting Instant Decision Days! 9 colleges will be participating this year, so be sure to take a look at the list and sign up by October 19th if you are interested. Instant Decision Days allow Pennsbury students to meet one-on-one with college admissions counselors and receive an admissions decision or follow up information on the spot. It's a great way to kickstart your college application process! If you have any questions contact your school counselor or Mrs. Stoudt, Postsecondary Counselor.

Mental Health Advocates Club!

Do you want to help raise awareness and eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health? Join the Mental Health Advocates Club! Our club is designed to help students adjust to the daily pressures of high school, as well as educate students and end the discrimination surrounding the importance of mental health. Mental Health Advocates will run every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. Join us for our first meeting on September 28th from 2:20 pm to 3 pm in room G103! Prudential Emerging Visionaries

Prudential Emerging Visionaries is a national recognition program that celebrates young people for their innovative solutions to financial and societal challenges facing their communities. If that sounds like you, you may be an Emerging Visionary!

Now through November 4, 2021, applications will be accepted from young leaders ages 14-18 who are bringing powerful vision and real change to their communities. The program supports young people across the country who are making change that focuses on two categories: solutions to financial barriers and solutions to social issues. Financial Aid Night for Seniors

Seniors and parents/guardians of seniors are invited to join us on Wednesday, October 6th at 7 pm for a virtual presentation with Fran McKeown, Higher Education Access Partner for PHEAA, who will walk through the FAFSA process and answer financial aid related questions. Families can join the presentation from a Pennsbury student account at THIS LINK.

We received wonderful feedback on this event last year, and encourage you to attend to better understand the financial aid process. The presentation will also be recorded and shared with Pennsbury families
