Year End Wrap Up
Dear Les Bois Parents,
As the school year has come to an end, we want to thank you for the opportunity to work with your students. We have a tremendous faculty and staff here at Les Bois. I am fortunate enough to witness the great effort of our teachers. It is not uncommon for me to see several of our staff here on weekends working on lessons, grading papers, and preparing their rooms for activities. This is an incredible group that I believe the community is lucky to have teaching their kids.
I hope you have an incredible summer with your children. We look forward to a great 2017-18 school year. Information concerning important dates in the fall will be a part of this newsletter. Please make a note of schedule pick up days as well as fall sports start days.
I would like to thank our PTO for their tremendous generosity this year. Several materials and projects were completely funded due to their incredible efforts. I encourage as many as possible to get involved in our PTO and support our school!
We will miss our great 9th grade group. They will do very well at Timberline and we look forward to hearing great things about their high school experience.
Ms. Longoria has accepted a district position as a Special Education Supervisor for the Boise School District. She has done a great job as our Assistant Principal these last two years. Jessica Cromie will be our new Assistant Principal. She joins us from Horizon where she was the Assistant Principal.
We look forward to seeing you all next year! It is a pleasure to be the Principal at one of the best schools in Idaho. Have a great Summer!
Thank you.

PTO News
Greetings from Les Bois PTO.
We are happy to say PTO had a successful was a success. We were able to fund many events this year that include: Out of the box, robotics, theater, a new flag for our school as well as the new outdoor classroom. We have a new board we would like to introduce to you.
President: Ed Holiday
Vice President: Valerie Robenstein
Treasurer: Barb Coleman
Secretary: Mandy McDaniel
Outpost Coordinator: Jennifer Buatte
Dances: Amber Chalas
Box Tops: Veronica Shipley
Volunteer Coordinator: Tom Stark
Please say hello and welcome them to their new roles when you see them. We still have two positions open that I would encourage you to consider. These are Teacher Appreciation as well as Tee shirt coordinator. If you are interested in these positions, please email me asap.
I would remind you, that at our school, we are fortunate that we do not have to participate in a fundraiser to promote and fund activities at our school. To continue in this tradition, we will need you to volunteer at the Outpost.
On a personal note, it has been my pleasure to be your PTO President for the last two years. I can tell you that without the excellent support of the staff and administration at Les Bois, we would have not been able to accomplish all of the great things we have in the past years. I am excited to see all of the projects and goals that we have been able to achieve and hope to see them continue in the future.
Have a great summer!

Spring Break 2018
Hello Blazer families,
During spring break of 2018, Lori Ewing and Angela Heindel will be leading a trip to New York, Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia and we need to find out who might be interested in getting more information as it becomes available.
Adult family members are invited to join us as well as siblings as long as they are at least 12 years old at the time of the trip. We will be traveling with School Tours of America, a well-established and highly respected student travel company. $99 will get you registered and will be applied to the trip cost. There are discounts for early payment and School Tours of America has tools available to help you raise money for your trip.
If you have any interest in the trip and would like to get information as it becomes available, please email us at lori.ewing@boiseschools or angela.heindel@boiseschools.org.
Thanks,
Lori Ewing and Angela Heindel
