Opportunities for Parents
Jump Rope For Heart!
This month our 2nd and 3rd graders at Holly El. and Patterson will be raising money for the American Heart Association! This is such a great cause that affects so many families, and I know our students will do a great job and learn a lot about it. At the end of our fund raising time each school will have a jump rope event.
On February 3rd, Holly Elementary 10:30-12:10 and February 5th, Patterson 9:45-11:25 our 3rd and 2nd grade students will be participating in their JRFH event!
3rd-5th will be in our floor hockey unit! We will focus on playing in zones, passing the puck, and using the stick properly and safely!
K-2nd will be in our pillow polo unit! We will focus on paying attention, and using the stick properly and safely!
Connecting With The Habits
Habit # 5 Begin With the End in Mind: At the Habit Huddle yesterday, students talked about goal setting. With the start of a new year, minds naturally turn to self improvement. Goal setting is a perfect way to systematically set and track our progress, whether it is an academic or personal goal.

We are also in need of one permanent dismissal supervisor. The time is 3:25 - 3:55 PM, Monday-Friday. There is a one-time $66.00 fingerprinting fee. This is a perfect way to earn a little extra money if you pick up your child each day! Please call the office if you are interested.
