ICCS Mission Statement:
We thank you, Father, for the gift of Jesus your Son who came to our Earth and lived in a simple home. We have a greater appreciation of the value and dignity of the human family because He loved and was loved within its shelter. Bless us on this Thanksgiving; may we grow in love for each other in our family and give thanks to You who are the maker of all human families and our abiding peace. Amen.
ICCS will be closed Monday, November 22-Friday, November 26. Classes will resume on Monday, November 29.
THANKFUL FOR OUR ICCS COMMUNITY
From my family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving.

FINAL CALL FOR HELP:
We still have two crucial volunteer needs that have not been met. In order for this year's order processing and distribution days to run smoothly and efficiently, help is still needed. Please consider assisting in one of the following areas if you are available. PTO points will be awarded to all volunteers.
- Saturday, November 27 starting at 8:00 a.m: volunteers are needed to help unload boxes and organize and accurately process 1,315 greenery items for local pick-up orders. Dollies and heavy-duty carts are also needed to help transport boxes from the Greenery truck to the Gym during this time.
- Monday, November 29: four local businesses purchased bulk gift orders for their clients living in the SWLA area. Volunteers are needed to help deliver these special orders to the client's home or office. Detailed instructions and route information will be provided. Drivers must verify the address and place the gift item on the client's doorstep. Delivery drivers earn DOUBLE PTO points! Flexible delivery shifts are available.
Please contact Doris Mhire or Jessica Steech at email@example.com or by phone at (337) 513-2006 (Jessica) or (337) 274-1981 (Doris) to sign up to help.
ICCS EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS MASS AND PROCESSION
All ICCS students participated in a special Mass and Procession on Wednesday in celebration of the first-ever Diocese of Lake Charles Eucharistic Congress. The goal of the Eucharistic Congress is to bring about spiritual renewal and a deeper understanding of the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. We thank Father Sam Bond and Father Rommel Tolentino, along with members of the 6th Grade class, altar servers, and our cantors for leading the celebration.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A CATHEDRAL PARISHIONER?
As we near the end of 2021, all Immaculate Conception Cathedral families are reminded of what qualifies parishioners to receive subsidized tuition rates. The Cathedral parish has set the following criteria: to be officially registered with the Cathedral, to worship regularly by attending Mass and participating in parish functions and activities, and to offer financial support by contributing to the church regularly. Families should check with the Cathedral office if they are unsure of their status. For more information, call the Cathedral office at (337) 436-7251.
